Recent Events:

In May 2012, Fr. Dan led a retreat for the Kingston Area Clergy of the Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands at the invitatation of the Right Rev. Robert Thompson, Suffragan Bishop of Kingston.  The retreat was held at the Hillcrest Retreat Centre in Brownstown, Jamaica.  The topic was The Ministry of Healing and the Gospel of Hope.  The book continues to be available from the Hillcrest Retreat Centre.

On Feb 4th -6th, 2011, Father Graves spoke and signed books at the annual Lay Anointers’ Training Weekend at the Convent of the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine, Cummer Avenue, Toronto.

On June 12,  2010 Father Graves spoke at the Lay Anointers’ Refresher Day (Diocese of Toronto),  held at St. John’s Rehabilitation Hospital on Cummer Ave in Toronto.

On May 10th, 11th, & 12th, Father Graves signed copies of his book at the Toronto Diocesan Clergy Conference at the University of Guelph.  Thank you to Lorraine of the A-F Kitchener store for her work on this event.

On May 30, 2010 (Trinity Sunday), 9:15 a.m., Father Graves preached at the 9:15 a.m. liturgy at Christ Church, Holland Landing, ON.  A book signing followed. Thank you to The Rev. Annette Gillies and the people of the parish for their warm welcome and support!

On Sunday, April 11th, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., Father Graves spoke on the subject of his new book and signed copies at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 10030 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON.  The talk and signing was followed by a liturgy of anointing. Thanks to Father Mark Kinghan and the people of St. Mary’s for making this event a success.

On Saturday, March 6th, 2010, Father Graves signed copies and launched the second printing of Prayers for Healing from the Anglican Tradition at the Anglican Book Centre (80 Hayden Street, Toronto) from 10 a.m. to 12 noon; and at Augsburg-Fortress (500 Trillium Drive, Unit 19, Kitchener) from 2 – 4 p.m.  Many thanks to the staff of Augsburg Fortress/Anglican Book Centre that made this event an enjoyable success.

Father Graves signed copies of Prayers for Healing from the Anglican Tradition as part of the Health Fair at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Thornhill, on Sunday, Feb. 7th, 2010.

Father Graves gave a talk on the Anglican Healing Ministry and signed copies of copies of Prayers for Healing from the Anglican Tradition at the Order of St. Luke meeting at St. Timothy’s Anglican Church, Agincourt (4125 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto ON), on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.  A word of thanks to Deacon Jacquie Boutheon and the Scarborough Chapter of the Order of St. Luke for making the  event such a huge success!
